Open

Contemporary dance. ABC
Dance and movement mechanism – body awareness
through learning basic exercises in different
combinations. Like after getting know the letters
going further into the syllables, words, sentences
to come eventually to a flowing narrative – the same
attention in the classroom is on the body as a
construction to which you can build a movement to
reach the main – dance. Get to know and repeat the
anatomical revelation and mutual anatomical
relationship to the physical sizes of the mechanical
units of the space – for example, centripetal,
centrifugal, inertia, gravitation is an invaluable
part of the conscious movement control.

Butoh
Japanese

interaction of Eastern and Western cultures. Butoh
has been also called „body archeology”comparing with
other dance styles. As the base of Butoh technique
there are simple movement patterns, which facilitate
awareness of body and mind. Butoh performer are in a
changed state of mind during performance which arise
body memories, flow of subconsciousness. That is the
way how Butoh helps to reach hidden personal
resources and to increase individual life quality.

Feldenkrais Method
The Feldenkrais Method is a system of
movement training for the sake of self-development.
The link between improving movement skills and
shifts in the perception of ourself and the world is
established by the subjective experience of
sensory-motor coordination.
The somatic experiences are brought to the
foreground and are guided along by the structure of
the
ATM (Awareness Through Movement)
lessons. Each lesson can be understood as a study of
the biomechanical and developmental nature of body
movement through the prism of a spesific function:
to lift the head, roll over, fall or crawl, stand up
or sit down etc..
It is very important to feel comfortable during the
lesson. So take warm and comfortable clothes, a
blanket or a mat to lie on.
The value and meaning of the Feldenkrais
lessons is in the experiance of the self in movement
while attending to ones internal feelings as guide
for action.
The Feldenkrais Method was founded and
developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, D.Sc. (1904-1984).
He became internationally known through his lecture-
and workshop- tours in Europe and the USA.

Contact improvisation.
We will remember the basic principles of contact –
trust and communication with another person in
movement. Respecting another’s choice let’s not
lose
ourself. In 60 min we will warm up with the
exercises, which will allow to meet people in group,
to be aware of our weight, still being able to fly.
Another part of the class we will use to get to know
ourself better through our chices, what we make
during the dancing with another.
