Time To Dance
is a formula for contemporary dance events of
different scales in Latvia since 1998. Time
To
Dance is a brand of regular contemporary dance
evenings all through the year. Time To dance
improvisations, sketches
joined in
at the end of 2005. It is focused on works in
process, dance improvisation and contact
improvisation.
It has been five days long
international festival since 2005. It contains
workshops, dance performances and lectures. Among
the guests of Time To Dance has been such teachers,

The students of dance
department from Latvian Culture Academy are regular
participants at the festival. The composition works
are performed at one of festival nights.
The director of the
festival is Olga Zitluhina. She is also the founder
of Time To Dance, artistic director of
Olga Zitluhina Dance Company, and the head of
the dance department at Latvian Culture Academy.
