Ilze Zirina (HA- choreographers’ association )

Works in contemporary dance field since 1997. Got MA in choreography (Music Academy of Latvia) in 2001. Professional skills learned from such teachers as Olga Zitluhina, David Zambrano, Maria Munoz, Pep Ramis, Julyen Hamilton, Hai Cohen, Masaki Iwana, Fiona Millward, Katri Soini, Benno Voorham, SU –EN to name few.

Teacher of contemporary dance technique, based on release at Latvia Culture college, dance department and Contact Improvisation at Latvia Culture Academy, dance department and drama department.

Met CI form first in 2000 but started to explore it more independent since 2005. Her experience in CI comes from teaching and dancing as a professional at Olga Zitluhina DC.

Recently Ilze is curious in movement and contact which is related to precision in place and time.

The first intermediate level class, tought by Ilze will happen on September 22, 2011

Inese Upeniece (culture centre of dance and personality  I-DEJAS M?JA)

body oriented psychotherapist (psycho-organic analysis), Ma in psychology with gymnastics and contemporary dance experience and a thorough dose of improvisation arts throughout her body. This is the seventh year when Inese teaches practical workshops of movement improvisation and dance psychology field in Latvia and abroad. Contact improvisation for non professional dancers she started to teach/facilitate at 2007.

Inese co- teaches with her ex-student Gunta Za?aiskalna since 2010.

The first intermediate level class, tought by Inese will happen on September 29, 2011

Gunta Zalaiskalna ( culture centre of dance and personality  I-DEJAS M?JA)

Creative in all fields of life. Professionaly educated in pedagogy. Loves different kinds of art and dance – especially Contact Improvisation. Has studied CI both in Latvia and abroad.
