„Humming (2013)”

“Humming (2013) is humming for 1 minute.

The sound made by chance according to artist’s feeling is played at random and connected.

We can find a thing like the music known in it, or can find the relation of the sound used repeatedly.

When others’ humming becomes the music which oneself knows,

sound will make our feeling go up and down.

And you will be infected with humming.

The audience can see the performance of “humming” which continues infinitely at there.

Soshi Matsunobe – born in Kumamoto, Japan (1988), graduated from Kyoto Saga University of Arts (2008), lives and works in Kyoto, Japan.Since 2007 he has been taking part in different kinds of local and international solo and group exhibitions. There are three things which characterize his work the most and the artist calls them „multiplicity”, „applicability”and „variability”. The purpose of his work is to create something that wouldn’t be just his anymore, but a part of an active social dialogue.
