Liadain told about herself, about how she perceives dance at this moment, what are the first details in Riga she notices, how she guides the creative process during these two weeks, given to her in Riga. There was dialogue between Liadain and Latvian dancers about several themes dance artists are concerned about. Liadain also invited for a class to share ideas about the exercises of technique what help her in everyday training.

In Riga Liadain collaborates with Latvian visual artist Katrina Kalnina and explores the idea about map not being the territory itself and our perception is not reality itself but it is our „map” – unique for our eyes and sences, what perceives the place in time.

The working title of the work being created in Riga is “Below The Surface” and it will be presented on BETANOVUSS on August 20th, 19:00. The evening event will include also presentation of Kristine Vismane about her residency time in Cyprus during July 1 – 29, 2012.
